Dear Igshaan and colleagues
I just wanted to thank all those who said such kind words to me, on my
decision to step down as Co-Chair of IYRP ISG. It has been a good many
years that I have had the privilege of playing a part in steering our
coalition and I am grateful for all the efforts everyone has put in to
bring us to this great height. Every day there are more and more reports
about pastoralists and rangelands, whether in the media, or seminars, or
conferences. People are showing their commitments and taking action. This
is the visibility we were looking for, and we need to build it up to an
even higher crescendo by 2026.

By stepping down I will not be far away and will continue to be here to
help whenever I can.

all my heartfelt thanks
