Dear Distinguished CALES Faculty,

Thank you for your ongoing dedication to our students! Your mentorship, guidance, and support are integral to their academic and personal success. We would be honored to have you at the CALES First Gen Kickoff on Thursday, March 27, from 4 to 6 PM at the Forbes Lobby.

This event is an opportunity to celebrate First-Gen students and offer them a casual, mixer-style networking environment. It’s designed as a come-and-go event, so you are welcome to stay for as long as you are available. Your participation in the networking activities, along with the Input Wall and Selfie Backdrop, would be incredibly meaningful to our students and reinforce that you care about their success and are approachable.

Event Highlights

🔹 Resource Stations – External resources to support students.
🔹 First Gen Den – Tour our new space created to support first-gen students.
🔹 Networking – Engage with students, faculty, and staff in a relaxed, informal setting.
🔹 Input Wall – Help shape first-gen initiatives in CALES.
🔹 Selfie Backdrop – Celebrate First-Gen Pride and increase awareness.
