The UA's Office of Research Development Services (RDS) offers a support program for early-career faculty who are interested in applying for an NSF CAREER grant.  The information provided in this program has positively impacted the outcome of our faculty submissions, and it's highly recommended to participate if you are planning to submit.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) offers the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program<https://beta.nsf.gov/funding/opportunities/faculty-early-career-development-program-career> annually. The CAREER Program is an NSF-wide activity that offers prestigious awards in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars. Applications for an NSF CAREER grant are due July 22, 2026.



U of A's Research Development Services (RDS) offers a guided program to potential applicants and interested parties that provides an overview of the NSF CAREER Program as well as proposal development assistance to those that choose to submit a full CAREER proposal. The RDS program is available for U of A faculty at no-cost. To learn more about the RDS program please join us on January 14 for an information session.
