[Faculty] Provost's Investment Fund Proposals

CALES Faculty,

If you are submitting a proposal to the Provost's Investment Fund<https://provost.arizona.edu/provost-investment-fund>, please note that the proposals must be submitted prior to the deadline of noon on October 30, 2024.

The guidelines indicate that all proposals must include a letter of "Leadership Buy-in".  Specifically "requests must include brief signed letters of support from the relevant dept head(s)/chair(s)/ director(s) AND dean(s)/VP(s), signifying that the project is supported by the relevant campus leaders.  Maximum of 2 pages."

Although the college will not be performing an internal review of proposal submissions this year, if you are planning to submit a proposal, please be sure to reach out to the appropriate leader with a draft of your proposal and sufficient time for them to prepare such a letter.  This should be no later than a full week prior to the deadline (i.e., by CoB Tues, Oct 22, and preferably earlier if possible).  The choice of having this individual be a department head, director or associate dean will depend on the nature and focus of your proposal.
