Dear Colleagues:

I am writing to highlight a few research and innovation opportunities that I have become aware of recently. I hope that you can take advantage of at least one of them.

Workshop: Creating a Lab Handbook with Quarto - Wed Aug 28th, 2024
A lab handbook is a living document that outlines the group's philosophy, policies, expectations and "institutional knowledge". In this workshop, you'll create your own searchable lab group handbook/wiki with Quarto. You'll learn the basics of GitHub, markdown, and Quarto, and be guided through customizing a template book to make it your own. This workshop is open to anyone, but will be especially useful for current PIs or graduate students or postdocs planning on running their own group in the future.
