Good evening, CALES faculty.

I know that you are being bombarded with "beginning of semester" emails and information. I am going to add to that.

The UA Faculty Mentoring Institute is open right now for applications. They are seeking early career faculty who would like to be mentored as well as more established faculty who are interested in being mentors.

In 2022-23, CALS had 20 participants in the Mentoring Institute - so far this year, only 3 faculty have registered. Registration closes on August 28th; more information, can be found here<https://facultyaffairs.arizona.edu/communities>.

If you would like to speak to a past participant regarding the time commitment or other logistics, please let me know and I'll find someone for you to speak with.
