Dear CALS faculty,

We have all been thrust into an era of significant instructional disruption over the past 9 months. Indeed, such disruption has come with many notable challenges. Yet, with disruption and challenge often comes innovation and opportunity.

It is likely that some of you have drawn on your expertise, creativity, and sense of ingenuity to develop instructional innovations that you think are worth sharing with others. Maybe you are even thinking of submitting a proposal to the Provost’s Investment Fund (https://provost.arizona.edu/provost-investment-fund) as the first step toward broader transformation? The Cardon Academy for Teaching Excellence (CATE) would like to help - whether in the form of brainstorming, problem solving, or networking. If you’d like to set up a 30 minute session with the CATE Fellows for a time over the next few weeks in advance of the Provost’s January 29th deadline, please reach out to me (mmars at arizona.edu<mailto:mmars at arizona.edu>) ASAP.
