Good morning everyone,

This is a reminder about a very important Town Hall event today with Mr. Chris Kopach, UA's Assistant Vice President, Facilities Management. The Town Hall will be held from 12 noon - 1:00 pm, link is below. Chris is responsible for all UA physical plant and custodial services.  A number of us have worked with Chris and his team in the past on some very challenging issues. He's been great to work with.

For campus re-entry Chris is responsible for, and laser focused on our buildings' roles in personnel and student safety and disease mitigation.  I hope you can imagine the workload and pressures on Chris and his team as they prepare for whatever reality will be weeks away, especially as the published data about risks of SARS COV2  infection inside buildings snowballs and CDC as well as medical guidance evolves.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TOWN HALL IS ABOUT TEACHING AND NOT RESEARCH. If you have questions associated with research, please work with you unit head and Parker Antin as you do now. Chris is working with the VPRII and ADRs on research issues.
