[Faculty] Geneious license available to UA personnel

Dear Faculty,

The unlimited use license of Geneious<https://www.geneious.com/> has been purchased by CALS, UAHS, and UITS and is available through a centrally hosted license server at UITS.

To connect to license server from Geneious:
1. Start up Geneious
2. Select Activate Geneious Pro from the Pro menu
3. Check the "Use license server" button
4. Enter the hostname of the server and license server port (geneious.license.arizona.edu, port 1713)
5. Click OK to start using the license

Once you have set up Geneious to use the floating license, the software will automatically check a license out whenever Geneious starts up and check it in when Geneious shuts down. Please shutdown Geneious when it is not in use. If you find yourself waiting for a license, please let Matt Rahr (rahr at ag.arizona.edu<mailto:rahr at ag.arizona.edu>)  know.
