<p class="MsoNormal">The unlimited use license of <a href="https://www.geneious.com/">
Geneious</a> has been purchased by CALS, UAHS, and UITS and is available through a centrally hosted license server at UITS.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>To connect to license server from Geneious:<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">1. Start up Geneious<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">2. Select Activate Geneious Pro from the Pro menu<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">3. Check the “Use license server” button<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">4. Enter the hostname of the server and license server port (geneious.license.arizona.edu, port 1713)<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">5. Click OK to start using the license<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Once you have set up Geneious to use the floating license, the software will automatically check a license out whenever Geneious starts up and check it in when Geneious shuts down.
<u>Please shutdown Geneious when it is not in use</u>. If you find yourself waiting for a license, please let
