Dear faculty,

I would like to ask for your assistance to help us at the UA specifically, and in higher education in general, understand what the critical 21st-century employability skills are.

UA CALS is working with the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities<http://www.aplu.org/> (APLU) on a survey linked below. Your responses will inform changes to educational practices at the UA and other tertiary education institutions nationwide.

The survey will take about 15 minutes. I know that is a lot but your information is critical for us to make the progress we need to make to better serve you. The questions are organized into three sections:

    1) learning a little bit about your background;
    2) your assessment of the importance and preparedness of 11 critical employability skills for students today;
    3) ideas about how students can better prepare for persistence, ambiguity, change, and conflict in the workplace.

Sincerely,

Shane
