How does the process lead to commercial value and real-world impact?

Dr. Dale Hunt will present an overview of patent portfolio development approaches and licensing strategies to optimize protection and commercialization of agricultural intellectual property rights.
He will focus on development of natural pesticides based on University originated technology.
Dr. Hunt has extensive experience with patent protection, with emphasis in:

*         Life sciences (cellular biology, genomics, immunology, molecular biology, pharmaceuticals, stem cells, transgenics and vaccines)

*         Environmental technologies (alternative energy, carbon-emissions credits and exchanges, oil and gas technologies, solar energy)

*         Materials and manufacturing

*         Plants (agriculture, plant genetics, plant patents and plant-variety protection)

*         Medical devices and procedures
