[Faculty] UA Commencement on May 13

Dear Colleagues,



On Friday, May 13, the University of Arizona will hold its 152nd Commencement to celebrate our graduates and their achievements.  I am looking forward to joining the other deans and speakers on the platform and would like to take a moment to encourage each of you to join us at Commencement this spring.



The end of the semester is a very busy time, and I know how hard it can be to make time to participate in this ceremony as well as the celebrations taking place in your department or school.  Each May and December, I get the chance to see firsthand how much it means to our graduates - as well as their family and friends - to see their professors and mentors join them in the celebration.



I hope you will consider attending the university Commencement ceremony.



Important information for faculty participation in the University of Arizona's Commencement on Friday, May 13th:

  *   6:00 pm - Faculty reception in Bear Down Kitchen inside of Arizona Stadium's new Lowell-Stevens football facility. Heavy appetizers will be served.
  *   7:00 pm - Faculty line up in full regalia for start of procession.
     *   Regalia rentals will be accepted until Monday, May 2 via the UA BookStores<http://arizona.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=3d833db55ded5989c1009a651&id=b3ad7cc566&e=8639217e4c> and the $30 expedited shipping charge will be waived.
  *   7:30 pm - Ceremony start time.
