Food Safety Outreach Program (FSOP) Competitive Grants Webinar
USDA NIFA released the Food Safety Outreach Program (FSOP) RFA on April 13, 2016 and applications are due on June 02, 2016.  To view the RFA go to http://nifa.usda.gov/food-safety-outreach-program .   On Tuesday, April 19th from 2:30-3:30pm EST a webinar was held to provide potential applicants : 1) An overview of the program at each funding level (Pilot, Community, and Multi-state) 2) Goals, objectives, and evaluation criteria of the RFA, and 3) Matching and eligibility requirements.    The geographic, institutional and organizational affiliations were quite diverse including food hubs, state/local organizations, community based and non-governmental organizations, and the 1890 /1862 land grant institutions across the country.
