[Faculty] DRAC Research Enhancement Award Applications

CALS Assistant Professors,

The Graduate College has provided some Graduate Student Fellowship assistance to CALS. Fellowships will be awarded to students currently training with an Assistant Professor as their primary mentor. Due to the restrictions of these fellowships, the student funding will start at the beginning of the Fall 2015 semester. The Dean’s Research Advisory Committee (DRAC) and the Office of the Associate Dean for Research will review the awards and select recipients. Selection criteria will prioritize the research track record of the mentor and the impact statement.

Application Directions:
1. Two page abbreviated CV of the faculty mentor
2. One paragraph on the impact this graduate student funding would have for the faculty member’s research program
3. Proposed budget (Budget must include whether student will be funded at 0.25 FTE or 0.5 FTE from this fellowship and the duration of funding needed)
4. Budget justification. (Budget justification must include details on how tuition and insurance will be paid from alternate sources)
