NSF Career Grant Preparation Program

Dear Colleague,

Beginning January 22, 2015, Research Development Services (RDS), a unit of the Office for Research & Discovery, is offering a National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (Career) Grant Preparation Program for all interested faculty. The program provides an overview of the NSF Career Grant program and proposal development assistance to those that chose to submit a full proposal to NSF (due July 2015).

The NSF Career award is an NSF-wide activity that offers NSF's most prestigious awards in support of junior faculty and qualifies the researcher for the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE).

The RDS program is conducted in two phases. Phase I, open to all interested participants, provides a series of introductory seminars and panels on the Career program and elements of the NSF proposal. Phase II, open to those that "commit to submit" a proposal due July 2015, provides customized guidance, mentorship, and review opportunities for the investigator.
