A reminder that Research Development Services (RDS) will be continuing the National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (Career) Grant Preparation Program with Broader Impacts: Writing Strong Statements Thursday, March 5th.  This session will provide participants an understanding of the NSF Broader Impacts requirements and institutional resources available to assist in developing competitive impact statements.

The RDS program is conducted in two phases. Phase I, open to all interested participants, provides a series of introductory seminars and panels on the Career program and elements of the NSF proposal. Phase II, open to those that “commit to submit” a proposal due July 2015, provides customized guidance, mentorship, and review opportunities for the investigator.  Registration for Phase II requires submission of a letter of support from the department head by March 15, 2015 to ResDev at email.arizona.edu<http://arizona.us8.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=b6ba9388f9c749678c5f1628d&id=4fec7c8fbc&e=e1f9f074a0>.

The NSF Career Grant is a foundation-wide award, encompassing all directorates, and is the foundation's most prestigious early-career award.
