Hello CESU RC’s,

Please forward this announcement to potential candidates!

The projects fund invasive species management and planting of native tree species in 19 parks, and deer overbrowse management in 8 parks. The Biologist will coordinate all aspects of the projects, including managing budgets, ensuring progress towards milestones, reviewing products, and facilitating communication between contractors, cooperators, park staff, regional staff, and key stakeholders (including tribal nations). Experience with vegetation management, wildlife management, and/or National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance (environmental assessments) is preferred. The biologist will reside in the Northeast region and work at an NPS office, and a PCS move is authorized if needed.
