[CED/CD/EAT] 3-Year Review Letter Guidance for CS&P

Dear County Extension Directors and Surrogate CEDs,
I am writing on behalf of Ed to share clarification regarding the handling of 3-year review letters for Extension agents who do not yet have Continuing Status.
After consultation with Andrea Romero, it has been confirmed that the letters from the Cooperative Extension Peer Review Committee may be shared with the County Extension Director via surrogate CED. Also, the content and feedback in these letters should ONLY be communicated verbally to the candidate as part of their Annual Performance Review (APR) discussion. The surrogate CED may be invited to participate in this discussion.
Please note that, due to confidentiality requirements, the review letter itself must not be shared directly with the candidate under any circumstances.
This guidance is intended to ensure that candidates benefit from the detailed feedback provided during the review process while maintaining confidentiality.
