[CED/CD/EAT] Updates: CEU Options, Precertification Trainings in Yuma, and AZDA Train-the-Trainer Link

This email is jam-packed with updates highlighting several new Continuing Education Unit (CEU) opportunities, two Pesticide Applicator Precertification Trainings in Yuma, and a link to the Arizona Department of Agriculture's Train-the-Trainer webpage.

Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Opportunities
A few new CEU courses and options were sent to me to promote. I included them in the attached table. I'm sure there are plenty more out there so please don't rely on my list entries as the only CEU opportunities. However, I hope the list is helpful.

Pesticide Applicator Precertification Courses in Yuma - New Attempt at Promotion
I sent an email through my listserv a week or so ago to promote the English- and Spanish-language Pesticide Applicator Precertification Trainings, which I will present in Yuma in October. I thought it would be a great idea to translate the email message into Spanish, as well. I was wrong. The message was rejected by everyone who had either "Hotmail" or "Live" accounts. A second attempt to those addresses with the message in English only also bounced back.

Hmmm. What to do? What to do? Here's my next attempt to get the word out about the workshops. I set up registration forms online. You'll find the links below. Preregistration is required with a deadline of the Friday before the workshop. If you have a copy of the original fillable pdf registration form, feel free to use it. Below are optional online Google form registration links you can use as back up.

Updated Link to AZDA's Train-the-Trainer Workshop Information
I received a few emails from Arizona Pesticide Safety Trainers interested in renewing their Worker Protection Standard (WPS) trainer certificates. They said the link I sent out last year leads to a page that is no longer available. I searched the Arizona Department of Agriculture's (AZDA) website and discovered an updated page, which is: https://agriculture.az.gov/pesticide-safety-trainer-program

The AZDA offers online Train-the-Trainer Workshops on a quarterly basis. The next workshop will be on December 2, 2025. You'll find details and registration links through the webpage I included above.
