[CED/CD/EAT] Faculty Council Nominations

 Dear Faculty,



Extension is seeking candidates to be representatives on the ALVSCE Faculty Council. Information on the council can be found here<https://compass.arizona.edu/faculty-council>.


One candidate will serve out Anne LeSenne’s term (there is one year remaining—Anne has left the university), and the other will serve a two-year term.



This is an excellent opportunity for you to participate in the university's Shared Governance and, in particular, ALVSCE. There are about eight meetings per year, and a Zoom option is available for those who cannot make it to campus. The term will begin in August 2025.



Please self-nominate or nominate others with their permission. Let me know if you have a preference to serve for one or two years.



Once we have our candidates, we will have an election per the Council's guidelines.



I hope some of you will take advantage of this opportunity. The Faculty Council has been instrumental in helping shape ALVSCE policy.
