[CED/CD/EAT] FY26 SIP instructions, action required by August 21st

Unit leaders and business officers,
Thank you for your patience as we roll out the FY26 Salary Increase Program (SIP) for ALVSCE. Your entries are due by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21st, to meet the UA's firm deadline of August 26th. You will receive a link in a separate email to access the spreadsheet where you will make entries.
This is a confidential process. Only Unit Heads and lead Business Officers may access the spreadsheets, which are not to be shared, downloaded, or forwarded.
When you open the file, you can click on Editing to open it in your browser or your desktop:

The merit pool is limited (calculated as 1.25% of total eligible faculty salaries and 1.5% of staff salaries in your unit). Your unit head will determine who receives an increase and the size. Merit is selective, not across-the-board, and criteria must be established and communicated. The pools in the spreadsheet are based only on eligible salaries and do not factor in fund type.
If you have questions regarding the spreadsheet, please contact Tara Mysak<mailto:tmysak at arizona.edu> so she can look into it and make changes on the source sheet. DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE ENTRY FILES BEYOND ADDING INFORMATION IN THE BLUE COLUMNS. Any changes made to the other columns will be lost when changes are pushed to the entry files.

You will need to use VPN if you're accessing it off campus.
Please ensure access to your Entry Sheet (Academic SIP, AES SIP, Counties SIP, Dean's Direct Reports SIP, or Support SIP). You may view all units in your category but should only enter for your own. Where an employee is split across units, please remember to coordinate to ensure consistency.
Work with supervisors to identify recipients, then enter merit amounts in the spreadsheet. Use the blue "Exclude" column only if an employee is ineligible due to a written and documented performance issue. Enter whole-dollar amounts in the blue "Merit Increase @ 1.0 FTE" column; your pool balance will update automatically. Sheets should autosave, but you may also save them manually.
All entries must be final by 5:00 p.m. on August 21st. Once complete, please notify Janis (CALES), Carolyne (CES), or Taylor/Jeff (AES) by email.
