FDCP communities help faculty explore their individual objectives, hopes and aspirations, and reflect on their common challenges, concerns, and solutions for promotion and/or tenure. Topics covered over the academic year include strategic planning for promotion, how to present your work in your dossier, designing effective courses, and institutional service for promotion.
This program is open to all full-time faculty from any track who seek to learn more about the promotion and/or tenure process. The peer mentor groups meet at least once a month with an experienced mentor and additionally with their peers, if desired. Key resources on important topics are provided each month.
Nearly 500 faculty have participated with great success in the four years this program has been running.
