Please see the Kasser Joint Institute (KJI) call for pre-proposals below, which was publicized through the WRRC’s March 22 Weekly Wave. This call is open only to UArizona personnel, who would work in partnership with personnel from the Arava Valley of Israel.
In response to a question about the location of the research, Tania Pons Allon, the KJI staff director noted:  “They can do part of the research in each location, or do the main research in one location and supporting elements in the other. The main thing we are looking for is the collaboration aspect.”
Current projects involve Greg Barron-Gafford  (School of Geography, Development, and the Environment) and Kevin Fitzsimmons (ENVS). KJI is looking for new collaborative projects.
Joaquin Ruiz and I are the UArizona members of the KJI Board of Governors.
The submission deadline is April 18.
