[CED/CD/EAT] AZDA Unusable Pesticide Collection Event

[A group of blue barrels with a few plastic containers  Description automatically generated with medium confidence]It has been a few years since the Arizona Department of Agriculture held an unusable pesticide collection event. Great news! They are gearing up to have another event in 2024.
Due to some technical issues on their end, there is some uncertainty as to who received the notices about the event and the process for registering to participate.
If you already submitted your interest and list of products this year, you do not need to submit it again. If you are interested in participating and have not sent it the necessary form, now is your chance to do so.
Attached you will find an Excel spreadsheet with two different sheets for liquid and dry products. Click along the bottom bar to select the sheet you would like to complete. If you have any compressed gas cylinders, please attach pictures with your form.  The AZDA requests you do the best you can when completing the form as doing so really helps to speed up the process. To help you, the department also developed a 2-page pdf containing instructions on how to complete the form and answers to frequently asked questions, which I've also attached to this email. The department will compile and submit a summary of products to State disposal contractors to get their best option.
Please note this is a pesticide collection event. They will not accept adjuvants, fertilizers, crop oil, paint etc. The AZDA also will not accept mini-bulk containers.
Please return the registration form to smerle at azda.gov<mailto:smerle at azda.gov> as soon as you possibly can. The original registration deadline was February 11th but has been extended after the AZDA discovered the notices didn't reach everyone on their list.
