Hello and a special thanks to those of you who send emails with ideas for workshop sites, formats, and themes. Here are a few I think you'll like:

"Are you ready for a pesticide inspection?" Thank you, Greg Wuertz for requesting this 3-hour, in-person course in the Maricopa/Pinal County area. Muchas gracias, Jack Peterson and Roberto Rios of the Arizona Department of Agriculture for joining me in presenting the course in Maricopa on the morning of September 12th. I'll circulate more details in a registration flyer in early August. Curious about the cost? I hope FREE fits within your budget.

Testing, Testing, 1-2-3. I also have great news for those of you who miss the good ol' days when the AZ Dept. of Ag administered the agricultural pesticide applicator certification exams at the end of the pre-certification courses. Well guess what - THEY'RE BAAACCCKKK. Here is the fall schedule of trainings and exam events confirmed thus far. Details and registration flyers will be available in mid-August for the following two FREE events:

Phoenix
2-day training on September 27th and 28th (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
AZDA-administered exams (ag certs only) on the morning of September 29th

Prescott
1 ½ day training on October 19th (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) and 20th (morning)
AZDA-administered exams (ag certs only) during the afternoon of October 20th

An extra special "thank you" to Roberto Rios (AZDA) and Matt Halldorson (Yavapai County Cooperative Extension) for helping to make the pre-certification courses and exam events happen.
