[CED/CD/EAT] Hiring Freeze for Extension Hires

Dear CEDs and Unit Heads,

Central Administration has informed us that the university-wide hiring freeze includes UArizona Cooperative Extension. As you can imagine, there are many more questions than answers for Extension at this point. We are working to get clarification and permission to continue our processes, but this will take time.

Details on what exceptions will be allowed are still unknown. If you have not scheduled interviews, please do not do so until we receive approval to move forward.

If offers are "in process," we will continue to submit requests and seek approval from Central Administration.

We ask that you share this with those chairing any Extension Search and Screen committees in your unit.
