[CED/CD/EAT] Promoting Arizona 4-H License Plate / Billboard Campaign

Good Evening Arizona 4-H,

The Board of Trustees of the Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation are proud to present to you a marketing effort to highlight the Arizona 4-H license plate and to encourage enrollment in Arizona 4-H. Billboards are just one aspect of a campaign to raise awareness and visibility of the Arizona 4-H program, encourage purchasing of the Arizona 4-H license plate, and to encourage enrollment. Information will be forthcoming in the next week(s) about social media promotion materials for the Arizona 4-H license plate. This part of the project aims to deliver 12 billboards across Arizona within the range of October 1, 2022- April 30, 2023 (Not all billboards will be up during the entirety).

The Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation has found an exceptional partner to bring billboards to highways near you, they are providing a very competitive cost to support the joint promotion efforts. Additionally, I am grateful that the Board of Trustees under the stewardship of Deb Lester has voted to raise up to $40,500 for this project and are seeking corporate and donor partners to offset these costs.

  *   Arizona 4-H license plate billboards will be co-promoted in partnership with a corporate partner.
  *   4-H enrollment billboards will be presented without a corporate partner.
You can review the selected locations in the attached PowerPoint. Billboard locations have been screened and vetted for good placement and availability and to maximize the cost to benefit ratio.

Corporate sponsors have been/are being sought to cover the expenses of design and installation of the Arizona 4-H license plate promotion billboards. The Board of Trustees also seek County Extension Council's and/or 4-H Councils to partner with the Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation to bring enrollment billboards to your community. Costs are on a community and billboard basis, but partnerships range between $1-5,000 per billboard. Each billboard location has varying duration as well. Deadlines are fast approaching for Fall installation. If your county would be interested in partnering an individual conversation would be needed.
