Mark your calendar for November 9th for the 12th Annual Central Arizona Farmer Field Day. This popular in-person event allows attendees to learn about current UArizona agricultural research as they tour different research areas at the Maricopa Ag Center. This FREE event is open to anyone interested in field crops in Arizona. Lunch will be provided to all attendees.


  *   When: Wednesday, November 9th, 2022.
  *   Where: Maricopa Ag Center, 37860 W Smith-Enke Rd, Maricopa, AZ 85138.
  *   Who should attend?: Growers, PCAs, Ag industry representatives and anyone interested in field crops in Arizona.
  *   Topics: Agronomic and pest management aspects of field crops. Tour of the research farm to show results from current research conducted by UArizona Cooperative Extension Ag team.
  *   Speakers: UArizona Cooperative Extension Ag team.
  *   Agenda: Please see attached document.
  *   CEUs: This course was approved by the Arizona Department of Agriculture for 5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Arizona agricultural certified pesticide applicators (PUPs, PUCs, and PUGs) and Pest Control Advisors (PCAs).
  *   Directions: Some cellphone map apps will direct you down a road called Casa Blanca, leading you to a locked gate. Luckily, you can find detailed and much better directions to the Maricopa Ag Center (MAC) from Phoenix, Tucson, or Yuma, by scrolling down to the end of MAC's webpage: https://mac.arizona.edu/maps-directions  You'll know you're getting close to the site when you see the large blue University of Arizona property sign. You can park near the main MAC building, which will be on the left side of the road a field or two beyond the blue UA sign. Note: The webpage link has also been included on the attached agenda.
