[CED/CD/EAT] Nominate an ALVSCE Leadership Fellow

Leaders,

We are soliciting thoughtfully prepared nominations for the ALVSCE Leadership Fellows program.  This program is a vehicle to develop transformational leaders and open to all benefits eligible ALVSCE staff employees.  It is the only program of its kind for staff and incorporates several components: 1) an active and engaged mentor who nominates the staff member, and 2) a development plan that addresses specific skills or gaps that the staff member requires to take on greater leadership roles within ALVSCE.  Financial support is available for those nominees who are selected into the program to help them achieve their specified leadership goals.  Completed nominations are due January 18, 2023.

If you are interested in nominating someone, please work with that person to develop a well thought through leadership plan and ensure the mentor will be value adding and engaged.  The level of thought is usually the determining factor between the nominations that are selected from a rushed nomination requesting funding or recognition for an employee.

Past alums of this program have gone on to develop statewide Extension programs for nursing mothers and another became a science-based Public Information Officer called in to speak to the media on the science of wildfires.  Please let me know if you have questions.  Appreciate your help to identify and elevate our future leaders.
