Good afternoon. If you are an Arizona Pest Control Advisor (PCA) or a certified agricultural commercial or private pesticide applicator, you should have received your annual renewal form from the Arizona Department of Agriculture by now. Whew - that was a long sentence. If you haven't received your renewal form yet, here are a couple of situations to consider:

  1. Did the renewal form go to your company's or employer's address?
  2. Do you have a new home or company address?
  3. Did you renew your license/certification for 2 years last year?
  4. Is your license/certification still valid?
  5. Are you a structural certified pesticide applicator? If so, your renewal period is in the spring and the following details and links won't pertain to your certification.

Checking Your Certification Status. If you would like to check on the status of your certification, you can search the AZDA's agricultural certification database: http://searchagriculture.az.gov/SearchAg/Home/Credentials

  * Click on the type of certification, such as "Pest Control Advisor" or "Certified Applicator License"
  * This will open another page where you can search by last name or certification number.
  * No Need to Panic. If for some reason you find your previous certification is no longer valid, it's not the end of the road. You can always take the test(s) again to become recertified.

Checking Your CEUs. Are you interested in seeing how many Continuing Education hours you have acquired this year?

  * If so, open the page http://searchagriculture.az.gov/SearchAg/Home/CEUs
  * Click on your type of certification (PCA or CAL)
  * Type in your license or certification number
  * This should open a new page displaying the name of the CEU events and number of hours entered by the CEU course sponsors.
  * Contact the course sponsors directly if you are missing CEU data.

If you have additional questions and need guidance, the AZDA's Licensing Division is a great resource. The division's direct email address is licensing at azda.gov<mailto:licensing at azda.gov> and the main phone line is (602) 542-3578.

Thank you and best of luck.

Jenny
