[CED/CD/EAT] Face Covering update

Dear Directors,
President Robbins announced<https://view.comms.arizona.edu/?qs=a4cb2d4b6fa5168bdc9f0cd686fba59c82ba380521fc0c0ce5edc303648dd91815be5c933d22dfa569c6ae2b16fa0055e27c721476258d8c097d02b37209cba6539d26787f5faca3b783fb0ed90695a2> the University has changed face-covering guidance of masks from required to recommended in most indoor spaces, including classrooms, effective Monday, March 21. These changes are reflected on the University's Face Covering page<https://click.comms.arizona.edu/?qs=f36a942eea448b134e396f12cfdec2b3dd1317fd519e3f7d4a1c0343d9a73a956bfce7938b61b0078c6c9333e4403ea2998cb18cf9c820f79b60076c2171aa88>.
For our Extension offices, face-coverings are no longer required but recommended. You should still be aware of local conditions and make adjustments as needed. Please be sure to follow any local requirements, such as county or tribal policies, as they apply.

Please exercise both understanding and compassion for one another as we start this new policy, knowing that we all have varying levels of risk from COVID-19. I ask all faculty and staff to respect people's choices.

I am hopeful that we will not be required to go back to mandatory face-coverings, but we all know situations can change very quickly.
