[CED/CD/EAT] Have Fun Learning While Earning CEUs - Southwest Ag Summit Session: “Potpourri of Pests, Pesticides, and PPE”

If you will attend the Southwest Ag Summit in-person in Yuma next week, I highly recommend the interactive, small group, station rotation session called “Potpourri of Pests, Pesticides, and PPE.” It will be held in AS 105 (Ag and Science Building, Rm. 105) on Thursday, February 24th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

During the session you will have an opportunity to work in small groups and talk to the presenters as you visit each of our 5 thematic stations for 20-minutes. You will get a close-up view of insect pests and plant diseases, as well as hands-on practice using a cool new agricultural pest management decision-making tool. An interactive presentation on the importance of correctly measuring and mixing pesticides and a thorough demonstration on respirator cleaning and maintenance will round out the session. I’ve included each station’s theme and presenter below, followed by the link to the Southwest Ag Summit website for details about the entire event. What a great way to have fun learning while earning CEUs.
