Dear Arizona Pecan Producers and Interested Parties,
The Arizona Plant Diagnostics Network, University of Arizona Pest Management Center, and Cooperative Extension have confirmed the identification of Pecan Bud Moth.
Please read the attached short rapid communication publication and follow the links within for more information.
On top of the regular pests monitored, we recommend scouting frequently and taking observations over the course of the season in order to determine the extent of its spread. There will be more information coming in the APGA newsletter and a video on the APGA website posted soon.
Please share with your respective lists that need to be made aware.
