EPA’s Webinar: Pesticide Labels Demystified: Guidance on Understanding Pesticide Labels

Webinar Description: A key component of integrated pest management (IPM) is the appropriate use of pesticides. Understanding how to read, interpret and follow instructions on a pesticide label is critical for effective use of a product. This free webinar will clarify labels used for agricultural, antimicrobial, and structural applications for commercial and private applicators. Presenters will also explain how to spot unregistered pesticides and how to understand label components such as toxicity, calibration, dilution, and more.

This live, online course has been approved for 1 hour of continuing education for Arizona’s Pest Control Advisors as well as certified applicators working in the agricultural and structural pest control industry. The webinar might also be of interest to pesticide safety trainers, non-certified pesticide handlers, and employers.
