Subject: COVID-19 Clock Delay - Faculty List
Good afternoon,
Attached you will find a list of all your faculty who have opted in, requesting the COVID-19 Clock Delay option thus far. The Faculty Affairs Office has requested some assistance with collecting information from faculty with both 3rd year and 6th year reviews as options to delay. These are faculty members who have not yet completed a 3-year retention review. Some candidates have already mentioned they wish to follow-through with 3rd year review, but delay their mandatory 6th year review.
Please let us know which of your candidates (if any) choose to delay:
* Just the 3rd year review (they plan to do their 6th as scheduled)
* Just the 6th year review (they plan to their 3rd as scheduled)
* Both 3rd and 6th year reviews
You may report this information in the body of an email by replying-ALL to this message or by sending your list to Sylvia Ramirez (sramirez at email.arizona.edu<mailto:sramirez at email.arizona.edu>). We ask that you return this information no later than Monday, June 22.
This is also an excellent opportunity to communicate with your 2020-21 promotion review candidates to check if they submitted a clock delay but still plan to submit a dossier; or if they said they would submit the clock delay but are not listed. This list includes submissions through April 28 from what I can tell. If they claim to have opted in but are not listed, you may recommend they submit the request again (link below). The COVID-19 clock delay will be available in the future and is still available now through a simplified online process. The deadline to opt-in is June 30, 2020.
