[CED/CD/EAT] [SPAM?] Conference calls - communications

Jeff,
While the number of emails and communications have ramped up in the past
few days, I do not think that we have been inundated. Good communication
in the face of emergency is critical and I believe that the exchanges we
have seen have been necessary. Atilla the Hun would have been proud. The
flipside, too few communications, would have been disastrous because we
would not have known how to move forward. I think, from my point of view,
that we are doing just fine.
While Shane may want to "listen", and that is good, I think the bottom line
is that we need him and those above him to know that we are doing our best
to comply with the requirements and demands of the situation. It is no
simple matter to completely shut down the vast and successful machinery
that makes Extension work but I am very proud of all of those with whom I
work, fellow CED's, faculty, staff, and volunteers, and what they have been
willing and able to do in a short amount of time. I think that is one of
the messages that he needs to hear.
My thoughts,
Rick
