WEDA,

Earlier today you should have received an announcement from Sandy Ruble about the National Excellence in Extension Award and the National Diversity Award. The due date for both of these awards is May 1, 2020. They must be submitted on the forms that came with Sandy’s email.

I would also like to remind you about the Western Extension Director’s Awards of Excellence. The application deadline for the WEDA Awards of Excellence is Friday, March 13 at 5:00pm Mountain Time. WEDA award nomination information and criteria are posted on the WEDA website: https://weda.extension.oregonstate.edu/<http://lists.cahnrs.wsu.edu/cgi-bin/dada/mail.cgi/r/wedadirectors/079165860953/silver/cals.arizona.edu/> under Awards of Excellence.

The WEDA Awards of Excellence are different than the National Awards in that the WEDA awards focus more on an outstanding program, where the national awards focus more of an individual’s career or body of work. Let’s make it a point to nominate lots of deserving Extension employees for all of these awards!
