I am pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the 2020 National Extension Awards program offered by ECOP in partnership with the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA). Nominations will close in 3 months on May 1, 2020. Diversity and Excellence in Extension Award Honorees will be chosen by July 23, 2020. The Awards include cash and travel stipends to attend a reception and the Board of Agriculture Assembly Awards Session at the 2020 APLU Annual Meeting<https://www.aplu.org/meetings-and-events/annual-meeting/>. NIFA officials and the ECOP Chair will present these prestigious awards on the national stage with an audience of Extension, research and teaching faculty from across the Land-grant System. All 1890 and 1862 institutions are encouraged to nominate.
