Subject: FY20 Off-Cycle Paycheck Requests

Hello,

Attached please find the final number of off-cycle paycheck requests that were submitted by ALVSCE in FY20 (July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020). This is a 55% decrease from FY19, where ALVSCE had 92 off-cycle requests, costing UA $17,480. Even more encouraging is this year was an increasingly difficult year with the January changes from UCAP implementation and FLSA threshold increase. Both of these changed the way some positions reported time.

Please continue the communication with employees, time approvers, and supervisors to decrease the amount of off-cycle checks we have in FY21. This will be a financially challenging year for our valuable UA employees, and the most fundamental thing we can do is pay them correctly and on-time for the work that they do.
