  1.  You many pay for increased bandwidth at peoples’ homes, obviously this is taxable income.
  2.  Hiring students to do research: a. yes these will need approval and paperwork like every other hire (you may have more than one student on the same paperwork but b. you must first chose students from a list of UA Auxiliary units that is to be provided. If you chose students from this list, the UA Auxiliary units will pay half the salary cost. If no students on the UA Auxiliary units are qualified to do the jobs then you may hire other students BUT you must prove why these UA Auxiliary units students are not qualified and pay the full costs of student labor.
  3.  There is currently NO discussion of staff layoffs—please communicate this to your people.
