Greetings!



My name is Anita Wright and I am the membership secretary for The Extension and Research Support Staff Association (TERSSA). We are currently seeking new members to join TERSSA.



Professional development is important in any profession because it ensures continued competence. It is an ongoing process and continues throughout a professional’s career.  The ultimate outcome of professional development is to build the capacity for sustainable success.



TERSSA aims to improve the development of administrative professionals in Extension and Research through professional recognition, networking across states, and professional and personal improvement. Any administrative professional that works with Extension and Research is eligible to become a member. Membership dues are very inexpensive ($10 annually) and association members only meet annually for a two-day conference. There are many benefits to being a member.



The support of Extension Directors/Administrators is key to the success of TERSSA! I hope you will lend your support of administrative professionals in your state to become active members of this prodigious association.
