FYI, Mary Faul has given another gift of $25,000 for the . Book Scholarship Endowment.  Below you will see the "receipt" Letter we are sending.  I am hoping that Jimmy can also send her a personal note as I wlll do as well.  (She loves thank yous!)

For some time I have thought about asking the State 4-H Leader to also send thank you's to our more major donors.  Even though these gifts go into our accounts, their impacts are huge on our program.

Currently Mary Faul's Book Endowment provides 5 $1000 each year to college Freshmen (preferably) to cover the costs of their books.  These students will also have received another tuition scholarship from the Foundation.  Since its inception in 2007 (this is the 10 year anniversary), over 40 students have benefited from her vision and generosity.

On behalf of the staff and board of directors of the Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation, I want to thank you for your generous support to this organization through your check received on June  10, 2017 in the amount of $25,000.00. These funds will be used to increase the Jim Faul Book Scholarship Endowment.

This gift to the Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation allows us to continue to support our 4-H members as they enter college.  Your support of endowments like these recognize youth for taking responsibility, working with others, and using their leadership skills to help others..  4-H's focus on "Learning by Doing" continues to be a key to the means by which youth learn best.

As the world changes it is critical that 4-H grows to meet those changes.  Today's 4-H programs, which are open to all youth, are doing that through the very programs your gift supports. These programs include after school opportunities, leadership conferences, camps, project work, and workshops that encompass a wide range of topics - from the traditional roles in agriculture to the new with science and technology.
