[CED/CD/EAT] DEADLINE EXTENDED: Continuing-Eligible Candidates' Annual Reviews

I spoke with the committee and they have agreed to a deadline extension to Friday, March 3rd for the submission of the information.  I've indicated that in the messaging below.

Also, for 1st-year Reviews, the Candidate Statement is not necessary.  I've removed that from the list of requirements as well.

I've also been asked by the committee to mention for those going through their 2nd-year reviews, you will be required to go through a similar exercise in August in preparation for your 3rd-year review.  The 3rd-year review is the same as submitting your full dossier/packet for Continuing or Promotion, with the exception of having to solicit external evaluators.

I'm CC'ing CEDs so they're aware of what's being asked of you.

Greetings, Extension Faculty!

You are receiving this notice because you are approaching either your 1st Annual Review or 2nd Annual Review by the Faculty Status Committee.  This review is separate from the Annual Peer Review process which is currently taking place.

Your updated Vitae/APR will be reviewed by the current year's Faculty Status Committee and is intended to help guide you toward obtaining continuing status and/or promotion (promotion only in the case of year-to-year faculty).  Your mentor(s), Extension Administrators, as well as seasoned Extension faculty, are available to assist you in compiling your preliminary dossier.  We are suggesting that you seek and ask these mentors to review your document before submitting by Friday, March 3rd by 5pm.

This procedure is an important part of your Continuing Status and Promotion process, and the committee's feedback and guidance will enable your successful progress.  The mandated outline for the Vitae is located at the Provost's web site for Continuing Status and Promotion<http://policy.arizona.edu/employmenthuman-resources/annual-performance-reviews-continuing-status-and-continuing-eligible>. Here is what is needed to be submitted so the committee can review your dossier:

*         If this is your 1st Annual Review (hired in 2016), please submit the following:

*         If this is your 2nd Annual Review (hired in 2015), please submit the following:

o   Your Vitae/APR

o   Position Description

o   Plan for Evaluation

o   Candidate Statement
