Attached is an announcement of a workshop we are having at Maricopa County
dealing with the topic of how people learn differently.  Presented by
Merrill Ewert, Former Extension Director at Cornell University and President
Emeritus, Fresno Pacific University.  

 

The workshop is on June 3, from 8:00 to 11:30.  You and your staff are
welcome to attend.  We just need to get a final county by next Friday.

 

Please distribute and ask those wanting to attend to contact Mary Conner

Dear Faculty and Staff,


Dr. Merrill Ewert, President Emeritus, Fresno Pacific University and former
Director, Cornell Cooperative Extension, is offering a workshop on
understanding how people learn and the application of "best practices" in
facilitation on June 3, from 8:00 AM - Noon, in the Palo Verde room.  Dr.
Ewert has recently taken residency here in the Valley of the Sun and
graciously offered to conduct this workshop.

 

I encourage all faculty and staff who can attend to attend.  I will be
inviting other counties as well, so please let Mary know if you plan to
attend so we'll be sure to reserve seat.  

 

Attached is a bit more information on the workshop and Dr. Ewert.
