Hello All,
You may have seen Brad's feature article about the AZMet that Brad and team sent out last week, but if you did not take a look: Brad's story about your AZMet work<https://news.arizona.edu/news/how-u-arizona-meteorological-network-feeds-data-national-weather-service?utm_source=trellis&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Also:%20U%20of%20A%20researchers%20spotting%20comets,%20new%20chief%20communications%20and%20marketing%20officer,%20and%20U%20of%20A%20weather%20data.>.
Brad is interested in doing a number of similar articles highlighting programs around the state. Please let me know if you would like your work featured by filling out the 3 question survey here: https://uarizona.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bgsI1x9MPzg9Mfc.
The questions posed are:
* A line or two about your program area, including what is significant or unique about your geographic area/stakeholders/approach/or impacts?
* In one or two lines, what is your personal program goal, and who and how will this benefit? Think "I am on a mission to......, because.............".
* Are there programs we should be featuring at specific times of the year? The more relevant, and timely articles are, the better.
The Editorial team may not be able to include all submissions this year, but all entries will be cataloged for current and future use.
Please submit your content on or before August 10th.
Thank you and best wishes, Dawn.

Subject: Editorial planning
Hello, all.
I would like to schedule 30 minutes with each of you individually (and anyone you think should sit in) to talk about feature story planning for the next six months or so. Questions I'd like to discuss:
* What aspects of your program area do you want to highlight in feature stories in the coming months?
* How can we focus attention on neglected areas, such as smaller counties or programs/topics that don't get attention but should?
* What specific programs could we use as examples of broader Extension values or goals? Who is involved?
* Are there topics we should be featuring at specific times, for example things to highlight ahead of 4-H fall enrollment or seasonal agriculture or environment stories?
Once we have a strategic plan, I would like to align these feature stories with the goals in the plan, as much as possible. Let me know when you can meet, and I'll set up Zoom calls.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Brad Poole
