Dear Colleagues – Please consider being part of the attached SPT 
Initiative, the “New and Improved” Master Watershed Program.

In short, the team and I wish toreengage UA CALS and Extension faculty 
and educators to evaluate the Master Watershed Stewards Program’s past 
accomplishments and establish a course of action for MWS that is 
self-sustaining, county-based, campus and research center supported, and 
integrated into the state’s water sustainability goals.

We would like to hold at least two faculty planning meetings and one 
partners planning meeting to gather input and discuss implementation of 
the Master Watershed Stewards program in the context of an action plan 
as determined by faculty.

/Please email me back by 3pm on Monday/ so I can add your name or that 
of your office’s educator that would be most appropriate to participate.

A valuable foundation that has been built for the MWS program. Let’s get 
together and create a new vision we can use to maintain MWS as 
Cooperative Extension’s adult water education program in Arizona.

Your consideration is greatly appreciated and I look forward to hearing 
back from many of you.
