[Agvisors] Update on Assistant Director, Advising and Student Services for Nutritional Sciences and Wellness and Interdisciplinary Teams

Greetings CAS and Agvisors Colleagues:

Happy Friday Homecoming weekend!  Great news to share, I am delighted to announce that Serena Valle has been selected as the Assistant Manager of Advising and Student Services for NSW and IDS teams, effective November 10, 2025.

Serena has been an integral part of our CALES advising team, consistently demonstrating dedication, collaboration and a strong commitment to student success. In this new role, she will support advising operations, student initiatives that align with the college mission, supervise the academic advisors within NSW and IDS teams, partner closely with the student services teams, faculty, other advising managers and unit leads to enhance our processes and support structures in CALES.   I'm confident that her vision, strengths and relational approach will continue to elevate our collective impact in meaningful ways.

Please join me in congratulating Serena on this well-deserved opportunity! We'll celebrate and share more about transition plans and next steps in the upcoming week.  We're fortunate to have her on the team!
