Hi All!

Even though we are not thinking about Graduation, it happens during summer, too.  Our colleagues at Graduation Services want to keep us in the know.  Below you will find a message with great information on graduation updates and deadlines for the Summer, Fall and Winter 2025 conferral cycles.

Remember, we have a date that Graduation Services starts posting degrees for a term and a date when it concludes.  For Summer 2025 Graduation Services will begin posting on Aug. 23 and conclude on Oct.  7.  The information below will offer this and so much more!

The Graduation Services Team would like to highlight the following updates and deadlines for the Summer, Fall and Winter 2025 conferral cycles.  As a reminder, the conferral cycle refers to the 45-day period beginning with the conferral dates for the specific term.

The Degree Candidacy<https://registrar.arizona.edu/support-services/graduation-services/degree-candidacy> page on the Office of the Registrar's website has been updated to reflect the conferral cycle dates for the rest of 2025. Full details are available under 'Schedule for Awarding Degrees'.  Please review this information with your students as they make plans to complete their degrees.

The Summer 2025 cycle will begin on August 23 and conclude on October 7. Students resolving Incompletes, Grade Appeals and Petitions will be awarded for the term in which these items are fully resolved.

An important reminder about transfer credit<https://registrar.arizona.edu/records-enrollment/transcripts-verifications/transcripts/transfer-credit>: Please remind students who have completed coursework at an external institution, whether in a prior term or concurrent to their final term here, that an official transcript with the posted grade must be sent to the University of Arizona as soon as available.
