My department is continuing to work with the USDA NRCS to provide opportunities for UA students. We will be hosting a resume workshop and information session on summer internship opportunities that are exclusively available for UA students. The session will be held on Feb 7th, from 5:30PM-6:30PM on Zoom and the summer internship application closes 11:59PM on Feb 16th.

Would you be able to share the event information and application information with your advisees? I have attached two flyers and have a short info blurb below.

USDA Resume Workshop & Information Session

The University of Arizona is continuing to partner with USDA NRCS to offer paid summer internship opportunities for UA students. We will be hosting a virtual Resume Workshop and Information Session on Wednesday, Feb 7th at 5:30PM. This information session will discuss the following topics:


  *   NRCS Employee Panel
     *   Overview of the USDA & NRCS, potential jobs, responsibilities, and hiring pathways
  *   Creating a Federal Resume

     *   Interns will receive a stipend, housing allowance, travel allowance, and financial support to attend a professional development conference
